How much is engraving?
Most of the items purchased from Legacy Gifts & Engraving include engraving in the price.
Items that do not, or items brought in are charged by the job. We will need to know what the item is, the engraving you desire, and if needed, the size of the engraving to give you a price quote. We do offer Multi Discounts and Large Order Discounts on most items.
How long does engraving take?
Our engraving times vary depending on our current order count when an order is placed, the type of engraving needed, and the number of items. However, we do our best to have orders out within 2 business days if not the next business day after proof approval (if proofs are required). We do offer Same Day Engraving whenever possible but please call ahead to check availability. Custom designs and Photo Engravings do take longer.
How will I know when my order is ready for pick up?
Customers who place orders In Store receive a copy of the Work Order Form as a Claim Ticket. Your Time Due and Date Due is written in the top right hand corner. If an order is ready earlier than estimated time, we will send you a text notification.
For Online Orders, once an order is placed, you will receive a Proof or Set of Proofs for your approval. Once your Proofs are Approved, we will begin engraving your order and you will receive an email when your full order is ready for pick up. Please check your Spam Folder and/or Add our email to your address book.
Does the item have to come from Legacy Gifts & Engraving?
No. We are happy to take in items no matter where they are from.
Do you have designs?
Yes! We offer hundreds of stock designs or we can make one for you. When placing your order, just let us know what you are looking for and we will be happy to email some options.
Why do you have to see my Carry In items before saying it can be engraved?
On some items, it is best if we see the item before giving a "Thumbs up" to engraving. We need to check for material type, size, thickness, and if we can hold the item properly. We do not like to turn away items without being sure that engraving is not a good idea and we do not like to say something can be engraved and then find out it can't when a customer shows up.
Do you do custom designs?
Yes we do! We offer custom designs, Business Logos, and Hand Writing Engraving on most items.
How long do Wedding Invitations take?
Wedding Invitation and Napkin Orders usually take 2 weeks from proof approval. Due to Covid and issues with shipping, this may be extended.
